Here is my first shave report on my Koraat 14-2.0. I’ll start by saying that I do not have a particularly sensitive face. I try to convince myself that I can tell the difference between shaving with an edge from a jnat vs an escher vs a pierre la lune etc but truth be told I am not sure my face can tell the difference between an edge from any of the good finishers vs a Norton 8k. With that disclaimer lets proceed. This razor is an homage to the Filly 14s which are some of my favorite razors. The grind, balance, blade width etc it just all works for me. As a result I have accumulated a number of them. So how does the Koraat compare? The fit and finish are very good. The blade centers in the scales with the blade just clearing the wedge as is proper. The blade is snug in the scales. The grind is beautiful. The bevel is tiny, even and mirror like. The jimps are very well done. First shave was done straight out of the box, no stropping, no tweaking the edge - just the edge as it arrived from Koraat. How does it shave? In a word – superb. It was as clean close and comfortable a shave as I have ever experienced.

    I'll second those findings.

10 Days since Ulrik shipped mine. Think positive thoughts every time I put the key in my malbox.
Not to be, yet. No real big issue. As I have been in my dump truck plowing snow the last three days. Name: 4688CF04-1816-4D2E-ACB7-82F4A718A013.jpg
