Thread: What is your most rare straight razor?

kavall Rod. I have foundbonly two ever. They are gorgeous, distinctive and the workmanship was the finest I’ve seen bar none. No one ever heard of them.

Bartlett and Dow in Lowell, Mass were big on seeds, agricultural things and hardware.
I have not seen another razor sold from there.

I wonder who made it? Does not quite look like Sheffield?

That's bizarre! Looks like workers from Sheffield and Solingen got together and made a frankenstein baby!

Robert, think that ROD might be REG or RED for registered?
Checked a pretty long list of Solingen razor names. Never saw it.

Uncommonly wide NOS Thiers Issard 8/8 full hollow and NOS Le Grelot 15/16 full hollow with uncommon square point (for this brand - model for export to US?)

Would love to have this old set. Came across this while looking for something else.
