Default Killed by a barber in an accident, 1652

Found this interesting tidbit in a law compilation from 1652. It should be fairly easy to read so I'll let it speak for itself.

What did the blades look like in 1652?
    Anybody have one?

Good question, I've seen and had razors from the late 1700's but not earlier

I've had two from around 1800 but nothing earlier, I would have to be on the east coast to probably find super old ones

I would be on the “death by football” camp. I wonder what was the sentence?

It would be hard to speculate on a sentence when even the question of who was at fault was not well established. I do find it interesting that there was no consideration of placing blame on the ball players.

Back in those days death was so common it didn't mean much.

Punishment would probably depend on the social station of the victim.
