    Default Sometimes you stumble on something new online

    I came across these on a completely unrelated search today. It's not often that I see a fantastic set that I haven't come across online before. This one is at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, and belonged to Franz I of Austria. Gold and Mother of Pearl.

    Very, Very, VERY Nice indeed.

    At times I seem to be blind in one eye and can't see out of the other so is it just me or is there only 6 razors/instead of a 7-day set

    Number seven is probably on a separate display in open state.
    What are the burners for? Or are they lamps?

    I don't speak German but clicked on one of the small boxes on the bottom right and found this.

    So apparently it was only a set of 6 razors.

    What google translate is calling lamps looks like candle holders to me. But what do I know
