Thanked: 31Good for you! SRAD may be an incurable addiction, but it's a pretty benign one. A good straight razor is a joy to use and look at, so why not?

Thanked: 292RAD is a disease with no cure, the best you can hope to do is control the symptoms.
For straight razor shavers, the disease seldom stops with RAD. Pretty soon you start collecting hones, strops, brushes, soaps, creams, preshaves, aftershaves and balms, lather bowls and scuttles. The only limit is your budget, storage space, and the tolerance of SWMBO.

I’m 8 months in and have around 30 razors but I always forget about a few. In addition only 3 strops, 3 brushes and half a dozen soaps. Is that bad? No way it’s been fun!
Edit: I got rocks too coticule and wasaka jnat. I swear that’s itLast edited by lslick23; 05-11-2018 at 08:11 PM.

You have to get enough razors so that you can justify buying the hones you need to learn to hone and save money not sending them out.

Thanked: 25I’ve been SR Shaving for nearly 40 years and it hit me about ten days ago. I bought 4 NOS Pumas, a Thater 4125/6 B brush, some Martin De Candre Soap, some Castle Forbes Cream and I added a few Old Spice mugs to my collection and I bought a shaving bowl. So join the club. I’ll be lucky if my wife doesn’t RUN MY ASS OFF.
