Funny. I see what your saying.
Problem with searching info on this one is Barber comes up over and over.
    It's just Sharpening, right?

I looked around a bit. Nada.
Just because, I hit the name and New York and hotels came up.
    Could not figure-out why.
I think a dealer and an old one. Might be for English domestic consumption. Must be French...Barberon seems French?
Only the name of the dealer.

    All I can figure?

Ill tell ya i spent a lot more time trying to find info on who made the razor than i did any actual hands on qork... That might be the reason i put it in neatsfoot and left her there..

French you say? Huh. Why not. I was thinking it might habe been from a hardware store or motel or from a co.pany the sells beauty products. And thats where the name is from. Made/stamped for the seller. It does have jimps in the thumb notch, and with the length of the tail im guessing around 1880 or 1900. Near wedge with little to no hone ware so thats a good thing. And the rust/pitting doesnt look real deap so i think it could be cleaned up nicely.

Just hope we can come up with some kind of background on it. It is stumping me badly. Abolutely nothing found on it besides this post. But i aint given up yet!
