    Double whammy

Trying to cut hair with that razor would be like cutting (hacking through) cardboard with child safety scissors.

first wapi's ~20 or if you wish to give them a chance (mixed reviews) double arrows ~10 are extremely inexpensive on fleabay and are mostly ok.

I was a Zeepk sucker myself.

What I got was a warped blade that wont keep an edge.

I actually use it for a box cutter.

I have a broken blade that I am going to try making a cigar cutter from, these blades may also work good for that. A set of custom scales with a bottom box cutter blade and a straight blade for the top half with a recessed notch for setting the cigar in for snipping.

As a proud owner of 6 Wapis and now 4 Double Arrows I can certainly confirm that! The difference between Wapis (5/8" or 9/16") and Double Arrows (6/8"), besides the price and size, is that the Wapi scales are so heavy that most people, including myself, feel the need to re-scale them. The Double Arrows - now for $6 from stamps222 on eBay - come with light plastic scales. Those are not pretty, but at least the balance is right for shaving. Both are easy to hone and IMO the Double Arrows are even better shavers than the Wapis.
