The blind hog finds an acorn
Hi all
I was at an estate sale this past Saturday. What did my wondering eyes behold but a Wade and Butcher Seven Day set in rough, but restorable condition. The asking price was $135 USD, but it was 50% off. Too much!
The lady running the sale, said, I could place a bid and see if the owners would accept it. I bid $20 and they accepted it.
I picked them up yesterday and now will see if I can get them back into serviceable condition.

Thanked: 4828Sounds like a good one, although pictures are really what gets everyone excited.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

You sure know how to tease a straight razor crowd!
There something about 7 day sets, I like 'em, a lot
I recently acquired a 7 day set of Swedish framebacks, mostly Heljestrands, my favorite type of shavers
It has greatly subdued my urge to go look for and buy more razors
