Thread: New Razor issue

I would take up the offer given here by outback. I know the temptation is to go cheap as possible to test the waters. What happens though is one of a few things and the main thing is not ever knowing what a quality blade is like. The best new razor for the money I have ever bought has been the basic Ralf Aust 5/8 which is a solid performer that shaves like a pro time after time.

My favorites are my JA Henckels Friodur razors which in my opinion are the best! There are many more close ones for sure.

I would beg you to try a known quality razor that is honed and set perfect for that next shave so you can gauge what this world is all about. Good luck and we all learn from our being new to a hobby/lifestyle for sure.
