    Default Genuine Respect razor

Hello, I am trying to find out more about this razor. The blade is engrave Magnetic Diamond Steel full hollow ground
    Respect trademark
    Esplnado Co

The back is engraved warranted hollow ground Soligen Germany 230
One scale has a broken tip, but otherwise it seems to be in pretty good shape.

Holy Mackerel! That is quite a list. Thanks for the reference. I didn't see a "respect" trademark listed, but will comb through again.

It is not a complete list I am sure so you may not find it at all. My eyes glaze over every time I look for something on that list.

Man that thing has etching on almost every side. They missed the back side of the blade tho. Looks like it has been honed very little in it's past life. Bet it'll clean up and be a great shaver! Where did you acquire this one?

Its been a good list, for many of the razors I own.

There is another, and a very good read. If you google
" German Tool and Blade makers". You find even more, and easier to read than the other. I use the PDF version.

Sorry, I don't know how to post links, yet. Enjoy.

Well, it's a great looking razor. You should get it cleaned up, professionally honed, and learn to use it. It's a great feeling learning how to use a straight razor.

    Hey that's a good one!
It's got three of my favorite.. French tip, shoulderless, thumb notch.
    Nice score!
