I have one of those stamped No2 also and it shaves well. I am not an expert and don't see why anyone would make the effort to fake a George Butler Shakespeare razor so my bet is that it is a real one. From the looks of the pinning at the pivot the razor may have been taken apart for cleaning and/or rescaled as the pin used appears to be a modern "nail head" type pin. If that is the case it is not a big deal in any event.
Hone her up and enjoy the shave.
