This is just one more example of how one thing affects another. Didn't we learn from Back To The Future about tampering with the space time continuum? (yes, I know that Back To The Future was a rehash of this topic... Don't want to offend any sci-fi purists)
The Flash traveling through space and time disrupted the fabric thereby bringing about a trend which led to over a century of inferior shaving products.
