Thanked: 3225Having shaved with very hollow ground and bellied hollow ground, I personally do not see much difference if any in the results. IIRC both give that scraping toast sound while shaving indicating to me that both are finely ground. I'd go along with the vibration angle as justification for a patent.

"Flat out like a lizard drinking" is Aussie for being really busy but I said "flat like a lizard drinking" implying the razor should be almost flat on the face

Thanked: 3225I did not mean to say "vibration" was a valid reason just that it was used to validate the need for a patent. Angle in this case was used as in angling for an excuse or what is your angle. Not the angle of the blade on your face. Ain't English in all it's colloquialisms a lovely language. Now I know the meaning of "flat like a lizard drinking".

Seems Gillette is going the route of using the always popular "serving suggestion" photo like those depicted on breakfast cereal boxes?
On a serious note, product tie-ins to movies -- typically of the sci-fi / superhero variety -- lowers advertising to a whole new level of super stupidity. Desperation over the death of long used ad platforms possibly? That is my best guess.--Mark
