    I took my old reply / message out cos I think I went a little overboard. lol

    Be careful when you're doing that search mate cos Northern Ireland will come under UK and not Ireland.

    Found it I believe.

    Back in ebay's nascent stage, it seemed there was a plethora of Hitler penknives up for sale. From memory, the image and text on them were rather similar to that which is on the razor scales. The tale that went with them was also that the knives were given to party loyalists and high-ranking members. At the time I had found a web page that explained the history of them as being post-war British-made, or Chinese knock-offs of a knife that was originally British-made.

    Hitler was rather specific about how his image was used and there were laws against putting it on what was considered kitsch. Usually when it did get used, it was photographic or a profile image a la dead presidents on a coin. None of this means your razor wasn't a campaign reward, of course. Just offering insight.

    I'm sorry I ever posted on this thread! The lack of sensitivity on a couple of posts here is a bit disturbing and I wish to have no further part in this thread!
