In general, we don't delete accounts. People come and go. If you become inactive on the site it is, in essence, an account deletion. Your posts become part of the archives and can be referenced by other members who might be looking for information along the lines of your content.
BTW, while being an avid user of a straight razor I, too, have a problem area around my Adam's apple. The skin there, for some reason, it seems extra thin and a straight leaves that area weeping blood. I use a disposable three blade in that area for a close shave."The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."

Okay, let's all calm down a little bit. No one wants to keep your "data". If you want to delete your personal information which is fairly minimal You can always do that on your own in settings. Unlike what some other people may say, without mentioning any names, most people here are fairly friendly regardless of what your preferences are. It may not be their choice but that's neither here nor there. Most of the people here who shave with straight razors or double edge or something vintage do it largely out of a sense of nostalgia and also because the cartridges can be quite expensivebut that does not mean that what you do is wrong or that what anyone else does is right or better necessarily. We all have to do what works for us. I think you'll find that no matter what type of razor you use there's going to be a problem area. That's just the nature of facial hair. Yes, it is true that most people here are interested primarily in straight razors and to a lesser degree single blade razors whether they be double-edged or single edged. Shaving some part of the body whether it's the face or the head or whatever has been around for a tremendously long time. There are always those who want to reminisce about the good old days. This just happens to be a site dedicated to that. Even if you don't participate in that avenue it does not mean that you can't learn things that are helpful. I'm going to appeal to everyone to be polite to each other and not make comments about what people do or do not like and what they will and will not comment on. The whole nature of this site is largely centered around being gentleman to each other. Let's all please leave the judgements out of our conversations.
