I think that's what they call generic. I'm curious. Is it really possible to figure out a blades origin by the the way the steel "feels"? The differences I've noticed, as far as feel and origin goes, have more to do with the grind and shape of the razor.

As far as origin goes, ive honed a lot of razors with this grind as i enjoy the thinner blades. Plus, this is just a guess. JMO. I cant say anything for sure. American or German in my opinion. Whatever that is worth.
It's just Sharpening, right?
