    Default Stub Tail Identification

I recently got this razor set and I'm looking for identification mark and maker.
A first suggestion given was "Pistol-L" trademark used by Broomhead but its seems quite different in shape
    Anyone have some idea?
    Thanks in advance

Marvelous set ! The brush itself is amazing.

The razor is IMO english, around 1760-1790, with a very nice set of decorated tortoise scales. You can usually see some of these razors in 7-day set with hone, comb, in huge shagreen boxes. :-)

    examples :

You should ask Voidmonster or Scienceguy, they probably will tell you a lot more about the razor / maker, and should be able to give you a more precise datation.

My feeling is English, but that's just a feeling. All I can contribute is another example, with the same maker's mark (minus the text underneath BER).

Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.
