I'd need a better look at the tang, but judging on the stub tail and the stamp, I'd say there's a fair chance that it's early 19th century, probably 1820
Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.
