    The first Kamisori razors I have seen that are that large. Thanks for posting those.

    I have one, though I haven't used it in a while.

    The Kanji 日下開山 stamped on it reads, Hinoshita Kaisan - a Buddhist term for immense power.

    Hinoshita Kaisan was given to Akashi Shiganosuke, a legendary Sumo wrestler of gigantic height and weight.

    Whether the razor is named after the wrestler I wouldn't know. But it would make for a nice story.

    That razor is a Beast! The first thing that I thought was that has to be for a sumo wrestler.lol! Thank you for sharing.

    Beautiful. I loves those. Only seen two that size sold by the same guy in the U.K. I got my Ohiri style from. Wish I had bought one. I do have one with the same stamps in 8/8 size folder.
