Ah, I'm actually a Model 94 guy (pre 64 of course) but I bought this one on a whim. What I really want is what my brother has. A pre 64 Model 94 30-30. Of course a Model 92 45-70 would be cool also or even 32-20

Well, Winchester has made a rifle to float most anyone's boat. Good stuff!
I traded an old 303 Enfield for it more than 40 years ago.

Best trade I ever made! A rifle you can pull out on the farm, set up some cans and let everyone have a turn.
Was worn when I got it and still cycles flawlessly. Hits where you point it.

Love to have an Enfield! That's on my wish list right up there with a M1 Garand and a 1903 Springfield. As you can probably guess I like the high powered stuff. Although that Model 62 is a great little gun.

At the time. old 303 was worth nothing. Expensive and not so much fun to shoot. Model 62's were never seen.
Seemed a no brainer at the time. Still does!

If I go big, I go common. Me no loady!

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. 25-20s are $1.70 each when you can find them. That's the real problem; finding them. I gladly pay it when I can. The Enfield is just cool.

If it don't shoot 7.62x39 or 51, I most always talk myself out of it. Fell off the wagon on a Mosin M38 carbine a while back just because it was 200 bucks and 650 rounds cost 200 more. Now There is some high-powered fun! Wish this virus thing would pass soon so I can go bust some caps. I know collectors with 100's of guns they never shoot. Now THAT is a sad commentary. Kindof like razors. If it don't shave, I don't want it.
