Thanked: 0Tubal Cain
I recently acquired this razor. I can’t seem to find anything about the maker. It is marked Tubal Cain hand wrought. And the number 31. Anything you can share with me about this maker will be greatly appreciated.

Does it say anything on the other side of the tang? Its got a nice stamp but another picture of the blade and tail would help dating it. From what I see Id guess early 1900s.
BTW, Welcome to SRP!It's just Sharpening, right?

Hardware razor. So my date is prabably close. As far as the actual maker of the blade will be next to impossible to find. Many makers made blades for hardware companys. I bet I have 15 different hardware company razors in my collection. I enjoyed finding them for a while. Still, its a good blade.
Do you use them or want to learn to use it? We are happy to help you.
If you post your location you may find someone just around the corner that can help you. It's just Sharpening, right?

So you know how to hone?
Maybe you are not as new to this as I thought.
You should go to the newbies area and introduce yourself. Some picks of your shaving gear is always nice as we love razor porn. Ha.It's just Sharpening, right?
