Thanked: 3226Could be a John Nowill & Sons razor. Strazors has info on it but my PC says the site is not secure. Also https://hawleysheffieldknives.com/n-...val=n&kel=1028

I’d guess Nowill because of the apparent age. Herder also used the cross keys but these were much later razors than this one appears to be.

It looks to me to have been reground on a large stone eons ago?
Perhaps the large stone did not hit the middle where the etch is. Patina and etch seem intact.
Bevel looks small?
Herder trademarked the crossed keys in 1848! Could be Nowill. No idea!
Interesting and pretty cool!Last edited by sharptonn; 06-19-2021 at 02:56 AM.

John Nowill,
the crosskeys from Herder look different.
