That magical rag also pieces together broken scale tips and doesnt leave a visible seem. He keeps those rags under lock and key though. Like the Holy Grail or the Ark of the Covenant.

It’s not the rag that’s magical, it’s the sorcerer who wields it.

I have taken this as far as I am going to. Bone scales with brown horn wedge. I didn't try to darken the etching Maybe in the future.

The pictures came out odd for some reason. I have no Idea why.

Looking good. The only thing I can see that could be corrected easily is a small heel hook.

I would be grateful for some education here.
All I see is a heel, what is a heel hook, what should I be noticing and whatever it is, why would it happen?

This small high spot in the heel. Will cause issue when honing. I am not sure how it is caused but I think it is fixed by reshaping the heel.

Yuo. You can quickly fix that with a 1K diamond plate. A few swipes should flatten it out and then you can reshape the bevel.

It’s not so bad now, but it can catch the skin or ruin a strop and inevitably will bite you if you don’t address it.

It can also affect the bevel because the hook makes a high spot and the area just before the heel won't reach the stone. It is caused by improper honing. It's normally either a straight stroke or not getting the entire bevel on the stone.... Plus it's just ugly.

Yes, the small high spot at the heel is a heel hook. They can be subtle or glaringly obvious and are the result of improper honing. They can be fixed using a diamond plate to reshape the heel radius moving the heel forward away from the stabiliser. Not a huge job and easily done.
