    In your dreams !

I am saving all the hones so I can make a headstone from them or maybe a privacy fence around my outhouse.

Many people have used a Hindostan in the past for headstones.

Now a hone in the outhouse would be a good use of otherwise wasted time.

Not sure the time would be “wasted”, but maintaining focus while honing there could be an issue.

Yesterday I decided to check the "razor room" one more time to see if I had missed any razors or hones.

Here are two group shots of the razors I found.

those razor roles are nice. I made one and found one at a yard sale. It says something about spoons but holds razors very well.
The slippers are a nice touch. LOL

Back to the original question, although it's been pretty much answered already: I don't even have a fraction of your collection, but I love databases. Yes, I'm a total nerd. For my shaving stuff, I use a free online tool called Airtable. The different spreadsheets can be linked, creating a simple, free, easily accessible from anywhere, relational database. It's also super easy to add links, photos, etc. There's a phone app, so adding photos is a breeze.

I sort my razors primarily as Shave-Ready or not, and then by maker. If I had a larger collection, I would probably sort them by country before maker.

I add details like the approximate year it was made, purchase price, size, grind, etc. I also have a linked table that allows me to specify the finishing stone used. You can easily change how the razors are sorted, apply filters, etc. Theoretically it would be easy to set it up so you could track your shaves - which razor, soap, strop, etc. - and then create all sorts of awesome graphs with the data.

It would be a lot of work to set up even a basic database for 1000+ razors - you'd have to really like that kind of work. Even with my modest collection it's hard to find the time to keep my database up to date.
