Thanked: 6Another huge blade 9/8 Joseph Elliot For Barbers
9/8 (1.127) Wide X (0.315) Thick spine X (4.749) Pin to tip Wedge 1/4 Hollow massive blade
Here is another big razor from an earlier time .I just honed this up yesterday and shaved with it.It was just like I like it quiet and well behaved,I have some more of these 9/8 mostly Wade and Butcher And also some 10/8 huge razors ,I will post pictures later.I restored and refinished this razor in 2006 and put it into storage, with the thought of selling it on,but forgot about it
Kindest regards ,Gary

Thanked: 4827I do like my Joseph Elliot old Sheffield razors above my other old Sheffield razors. There is just something about them. It’s a beauty for sure. I too bought a bunch early on with the thought of restoring and passing them along. I got a display cabinet instead.
