Oddly, the Satinedge clear ones usually are infected by the wedge. The black ones will do it but the red ones are really bad. The Case Temperites are about the same.
I have one I am about to de-scale. I will try to get a pic up.

I don't remember seeing this before but if it has been mentioned forgive me.
Has anyone tried putting a PH test strip between the scales and the blade for a warning sign?
