    Default Joseph Elliott Union razor oddness

    Hey all
    I just got this razor from a razor guy on eBay and while I thought it was shoulder less it turns out that it has a wide shoulder above the heel of the razor. The Shoulder is about 1 mm wider then the spine but blends in over a few mm. With the razor heel first on the stone beyond 45°, it feels like that shoulder is still hitting. Any tips on this type of grind?
