Thanked: 56I would not be surprised to find that the anchor itself changed over time but who knows. Placement on the shank is not really an indicator of one maker over another rather a different model from the same maker IMO.
Another indicator is the shear size of the razor that is not really common.
Brittain was known for some very large razors.
Maybe the other forums you are visiting will have answers.
