Found this on the Koraat Razor configurator. Hope it aids the discussion.

Thanks for sharing this. I saved a copy when I ordered my first Koraat so I could reference. Hence where I got the "bellied hollow" description

Oh I'm not disagreeing with you on this. As a matter of fact, my thought is (and this could be wrong as hell, but bear with me) wedges are simply blanks that haven't been ground yet. Of course there's always some yahoo who says "hold my beer" and tries to prove everyone wrong

This gets a little vague as each brand pretty much did what they wanted, perfect example is that "Damascus" razor I linked to we all know it wasn't really Damascus
Interesting belly on that Damascus. Ya know, I wonder if "Damascus" might have another meaning besides the forging technique. We know Damascus was a place in the Middle East. Perhaps it was prominently displayed on the blade because it had other significance. Just spit-balling.

Oh man, I'd love to see a razor with two grooves along the blade. That's got to be extremely rare.

Since George Korn was mentioned due to his patent on a specific belly hollowed grind, I thought I would post some pictures for reference.

In contrast to the Korn grind profile, there are more severe examples like this Diamond Edge from Shapleigh Hardware Co. I have no idea what you would call this grind.
