You will never see another inner box with a pattern like that. It is literally made of small scraps of paper pressed together. Like papier mache.
I am fairly certain that T J Holland Jr was the dealer who sold razors in that particular box. Does the box have Mappin and Webb on the outside?
Most old razors have lost their original box.
I would venture, by looking at razors and box, that 2 much larger razors originally came in it. They would have been identical."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanked: 0I Believe that was the original owner, he has his name written on both razors and his name on the inside of the box.
When I searched the name, I found a lieutenant in the British army based in the London Regiment.
Originally I was trying to look for
Barbers with that name , thought being a reason for writing his name on them, but being in the army would give a reason .

While all has Mappin and Webb and the same name upon them, the box shown is obviously not original to either razor.
That box originally contained a matching pair of much larger razors. By screen measurements, the 2 razors shown likely are approximately 1 1/4 inches down in that box."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
