Thanked: 0Anyone know about 'BEAUJEU' razors???
Gentlemen,
I got this 'Beaujeu Aine' a while ago and finally got around to honing it and shaving. Good shaver. I'd like to hear anything anyone may know about it. What I already know is that the blade is like new with zero hone wear.
I Wikied 'Beaujeu' and several locations in France came up. The only definition I could find for 'Aine' was groin [Fem. noun] in English. . . interesting.
Yes, the pic's lousy, but the sunburst, gearwheel, whatever is forged with fine detail. It and the above mentioned name are the only markings. I don't imagine its dollar value is very high, but it would be nice to know where and by whom it was made.
Any pertinent info appreciated.

Uniclectica has no info on this maker, but that's just the beginning. Would it be possible the "Aine" is actually "Maine"? There are a few makers from that area.

Beaujeu seems to be a French name, Aîné means the "the elder/senior"
