Henckels Friodur Razors
What's the consensus on these razors?

They are very nice razors. Except for the two guys holding hands on them.

I have an old model (not a regrind or new). It shaves like a dream. I am taking mine to my grave.
As for the 2 guys holding hands I can overlook that as long as it does not interfere with my shave

Marriage should not be, between a stick figure and another stick figure!
It's just not right!
Mods...this thread belongs in the "off topic"

Anybody who has issues with two stick figures holding hands (yes, make no mistake, these are stylized males), please note that holding such a sharp object right next to your throat, while being agitated by this image can have dire consequences.
After giving it considerable thought, I have decided to offer as a service to the community a replacement for any such razor with one which is not only unobjectionable, but also inspiring. Gentlemen (and ladies), enter the MASTER - USA razor. Made of the latest available steel and bearing this great country's name. It is so masterfully made, that most people choose to not shave with theirs and instead to keep them away from light, perfectly preserved for the generations to come.
But, wait, for a limited time only, and only for SRP members, in order to celebrate my selfless act, I will not only pay for all shipping and handling charges, but I will include a second, yes you read it right, a second MASTER - USA razor, completely free of charge with my compliments. Hurry, though, this offer can be retracted at any time. Remember let's limit the guys holding hands to the malls of Saudi Arabia or U.A.E. or any other uncivilized country and protect not only our values, but our very lives.
You can thank me later.

Yeah --- I know they are good razors but want somebody to justify the price I might pay for one. There are a lot of good razors ---right? ---- maybe for less money.
And here's a little secret ---- sometimes I know the answer to something already but start a thread to help spread info or just have my opinions or knowledge reinforced ---- don't tell anybody.

Thanked: 1587They are spiffy razors, absolutely spiffy!
(Anyway, those guys aren't holding hands - they're locked in mortal combat!)
