Boa razor
Here is my simple drawing that is with Papabull for his rendition in real life. The size has upped to 7/8 but otherwise I think it is close to how I would like it. I assume Robert is still a few weeks away from starting this one - expecting it in May. I have been a big snake person for many years (if you want a copy of my book on green tree pythons and emerald tree boas seen here http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...315919-4420149
I can do it for half the advertised price, I'll even sign it!! Special SRP deal ) and took the opportunity of developing that theme with Roberts obvious talents. Can't wait to see the finished article and try it out!

My tastes seem to change from time to time I like simple lines and a little art, mine would look like this with a square point:
Hope you don't mind Lynn I have a little razor envy

Thanked: 2Everytime I envision what I'd like from Papabull all I see is that scrimshaw pop into my head!!! I think I would like a 8/8 round point full hollow mirror polish and for the scales, I'd want a combination of scrimshawed ivory very similar to the one on papabull's site for one scale and the other scale I'd want it made of the first 10 pointer buck I lay down. (At this point I'll gladly take down a legal spike. 8 more months to go!!!)

Thanked: 11Quick sketch scanned and then filled in with Gimp.
So far I'm looking at something like this (not sure about the damascas blade - I think a satin finish would also look good) ,1/4 ish hollow shoulder less 8/8 blade, jimps top and bottom, thumb notch, brushed titanium scales no spacer as such just a tube between the scales that the bottom "pin" screws into.

Thanked: 351I don't know for sure what mine would look like....... I'm still waiting for Joe Chandler to finish it!
All I know is that I wanted a square point 7/8ths stainless with African Blackwood scales and nickel pins. Joe will fill in the details when he gets to it.
