I have 7 or 8 Robesons in varying conditions. Except for one that had a cracked blade, all have "loved the hones" and sharpened up nicely, all shave very nicely. I also enjoy the whole Robeson story, their marketing efforts--"a razor for every face" and how they characterized their blades (moderate beard, nervous man, etc).

I also have a Genco that was kinda hard to hone, just took a long time, but is also a superb shaver along with a couple of Torreys.
