I've got the 132 wedge, and I love it.My impression is that they are very good razors. I use mine in rotation, sadly the rotation hasn't gotten back around to the wedge, so I've shaved with it a total of once lol. I think it's time to start shaving a little more often than every 3 days, especially since the herd is up to 12 now.

I have both the 132 Wedge from Morris and the 133 Full Hollow from Case. Both are fantastic shavers.
BTW the Case 133 scales have only 2 pins.

I think all of the Morris versions are made in Germany while the Case versions are made here in the U.S.

I have several Imps but have only shaved with one so far (#133). I can't be certain offhand but I believe it's either a Morris or Ludo. It's an excellent shaver and probably comparable to the Ducks.

Is the 132 a "full" wedge?

I just received a gift from my mother-in-law. It is her father's old straight. It has been packed in a box in the attic for almost sixty-five years. The scales are rotted away, but faint red traces remain. After some cleaning, it is clearly a Red Imp. It has "Red Imp" printed on one side and "Hand Forged" on the other. It appears to be a 4/8 full hollow. From other posts, I am assuming this makes it a "133." Can anyone give me more information on successfully identifying it?
I doubt that it will ever be shave-ready, but I would like to clean it up and display it. I would like to replace the scales with originals, or at least something close, therefore the need for proper id. Also, the blade is very, very dark. I have tried cleaners and polishes, but so-far nothing has taken the darkness out. Any suggestions?
Thanks for any help.

Thanked: 9I have a RedImp of the Ludo variety and I have nothing but the highest praise for these blades. My understanding is that, regardless of the maker they are all outstanding. Both a Morrison and Case version are also on my list.
