Thanked: 2209Sorry, I do not recall the brand. But the idea of having some blades made for it is a good one!

Hi there!!
Your blade is gorgeous!!! I am jealous now!! ;o)
All I found is that it could be from France of course, (for the exact location, you may give me some precision about the markings, I just can't read it from the pictures) made by Maurice Georget and if so, you should find an archer or an angel on the shank... no datation sorry..
Enjoy!Last edited by Karakoup1; 07-08-2008 at 11:21 PM. Reason: I'm a little tired? ;o)

Frameback replaceable
It is a shame about that one blade being so badly nicked. There is a slight possibility of making it shave, however, because the blade is uniform thickness. You could just file the edge down and then re-establish a bevel.
The shape will be the difficult part because it needs to mate with the frameback, but I think it is possible, and worth a try. I could be wrong though.
I have a Jaques Le Coultre frameback with removable blades, and both blades are good. It is a WONDERFUL razor that shaves extremely smoothly, though that smiley edge takes a little getting used to.
I bet you can make this razor work.
