Thanked: 4Hello Greg Frazer,
then it is a very nice razor. I started sharpening but the Steel is like Sheffield steel. I need a lot of time to sharpen, but is's going forward.
I will show the result of usable razor
with kind regards,

While we're on the subject, I'm moving to Japan for a few years and I'd love to pick up a razor or two over there. Anyone have any recommendations as to where to start looking for a high quality blade?

There really isn't much being made these days. if you check the antique shops or contact a custom maker that may be your best bet. Take a look at the babashoken chain of hardware stores they did sell the Iwasaki's and Tosuke's in the past.
