Kadake razor
I was perusing the offerings on Ebay from Open Razor and found He was selling a Kadake razor. I have searched the archives and didn't find anything. It looks like a no nonsense razor that still looks nice. There isn't much description.
Any comments, thoughts?

It looks like a brand new razor and that spells trouble because the only factory made quality razors being made today are either Dovo, Ti and to a lesser extent henckels, Boker and Wacker. And of course the wapi's. So that leaves a razor coming from a part of the world I wouldn't want a razor to be coming from like pakistan, China or India.

Thanked: 2209I agree, thats taking a chance and the price tag is to high. Maybe...just maybe it is ok. If you like being a pioneer and blazing a trail go ahead.
My choice would be his other offering, the Wapi, or a Double Arrow from Kenrup, a member here. Both are good, new, starter razors.
But I would take a vintage razor first from the SRP Classifieds that has been cleaned, honed and shave tested.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

I am waiting for a response from the seller as to where this is made. Other questions I should ask? Maybe I should make him an offer- maybe the price of the Wapienica. Maybe I can get a discount for reviewing it here. In all fairness to the blade, I would need to send it to one of the honemeisters for honing and review.
I was wondering who makes the razors for Razolution and Klaas?
