Thread: GOE razor?

I re-scaled the razor with buffalo horn scales from Vintage Blades. I'm very pleased with those scales. They are significantly thicker and obviously heavier than those that come with e.g. Wacker razors, but given the weight of the blade, the razor is in perfect balance now. Still no guess as to which company may have manufactured the razor?

Your buffalo scales are very nice. I bought a set of bone from Classic Shaving and was very disappointed.

For some reason I think those scales look better on your blade. Glad you like them.
I also got some bone scales from Classic Shaving last year to rescale one of my Wapis. Wasn't too enthusiastic about them either. My expectations were way off in that case. Maybe I get used to them eventually.
