Damn, it's really pretty but not what I was hoping for. I was thinking,"well, if you insist....just don't tell my wife"

IIRC the numbers are simply model number... "Hans... make another thousand 70 1/2 razors" and he knew what size, grind and finish level to make.
and by the way send It to me and I'll store it safely for you.Be just and fear not.

Thanked: 0well judging by that pic the length of the blade is about 2.8 inches. and 70.5 millimeters is 2.775 inches. so you could just have a 5/8 inch by 70 1/2 millimeter blade on you razor. I could be totally off here...

Thanked: 586I would guess by (nothing else but) the artwork and the plastic box that your razor was manufactured on or about April 30, 1964.

Thanked: 21I've had a number of 70 1/2's, 50 1/2's and others. I believe they refer to the grind but could be wrong

Thanked: 0how long was the 50 1/2? if my theory is correct it should be about 3/4 of an inch shorter than the 70 1/2.
The model number makes sense too, "Hans! Where's my coffee!"
