Steve at Invisible Edge classifies the WAPI as a Henckels 3. The blade chart from his web site Jargon Buster illustrates the henckels scale. My WAPIs match his classification.

Thanked: 77The French Point was named by a German who thought it resembled a French nose (and thought that quite humorous). The French took great umbrage and that is why you will never see a French company make a French Point.
