My Genco Army & Navy is great.

Unless your new razor has serious issues you got a good deal.

Be sure to post some pictures when you get it!

If I remember correctly, Geneva Cutlery ‘Genco’ became Case (W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery) or was absorbed into Case at an early stage in its life. I have two of them, a vanadium in tortuous and another that I cannot remember the name of right now, Gold Standard is in my head for some reason. The blade was gold washed. Very good shaving razors, I am not parting with either of my blades anytime soon.

I'll try to post a pic when I have it in hand. I'll probably also look for someone fairly local (East Tennessee) to hone it, because I just don't have the time right now. Again, thanks for all the great imput!

Yes, Geneva changed to Genco when Case took over.

True that - great razors, haven't had a single one that wasn't a good shaver (at least as far as I can remember)

If it's in good shape - you are a winner

    Cheers
    Ivo
