Regarding the Bengal, I believe Cast Steel was often stamped on older blade, and based on the smile and wedge grind, there is a chance that blade might be quite old. A short, stubby tail is often another sign of an older blade. Should be a great shaver.

I've shaved with two different Temperites, one was a wedge (#60, i think) and the other was a full hollow (#40 maybe?). Both were fine shavers. As you may (or may not know), Case makes the Red Imps, which seem to be quite sought after. I found my full hollow Temperite was quite rigid when shaving, with little flex if any. The wedge version was very similar to a Red Imp 132.

I think I have seen a few Bowdin's wedges around; the name seems familiar for some reason. But, I must concede, I don't really know anything about them.

Default 15. Genco Easy Aces - celluloid, 5/8 SP, 1/2 hol. - very good

I can comment on the 15. Genco Easy Aces - celluloid, 5/8 SP, 1/2 hol. - very good. I just got doing a restore (my first!) and this was the razor I restored. I found it to be a very good shave (one of my better ones, but I only have a few shave ready blades in my "arsenal"). It's a decent starter blade for anyone who needs one but, like I said, I it was a very good shave and very comfortable for me.

Haven't really decided yet. I'm not really a collector just a user who likes alot of options. Theres something that I find unappealing about the notch. Love big razors don't like notches I'm a square point afficionado......

Now that I see the Temperite, I can comment further. Those are the same scales that my wedge one came with. However, it looks like those scales shrank. Not all that uncommon. Also looks like the wedge is loose. Could be because Case seems to have a thing for poor quality glue, or maybe someone forced it loose when the scales shrank in an attempt to close the razor.

Jimmy definitely not original I would say still shaped like an antler with raised carving on it. Actually follow the link in the other post and you can see it just not the detail.
