    Default Suprise from FedEx Today

Well I received my 16 razor lot from FedEx today and was pleasantly suprised for the most part. Some definite keepers and others not so sure. Not because there is anything majorly wrong with them just not my style. I am not even close to being a qualified judge of razors so I am just going to post the list and hope those way wiser than I will comment. Pictures can follow as necessary but not shooting 16 individual razors. But will shoot the ones I know nothing about to get more info.

    1. Geneva Cutlery - stag horn scales, 6/8 RP, 1/2 hollow - good condition
    2. Bengal Cast Steel? - wood scales?, 13/16 SP, wedge - smiling blade?

    7. Griffon Carbo Magnetic #60 w/ #73 on monkey tail, plastic scales?, 11/16 SP, 1/2 hollow- very good
    8. Griffon Carbo Mag. #60 w/ w.k. on tail, plastic scales?, 11/16 SP, 1/2 hollow - good
    9. Case Temperite #20 - scales seem short although marked temperite?, 5/8 SP, 1/2 Hol. - blade good
    10. Salamander Works Germany - bakelite?, 9/16 SP, 1/2 hol. - good cond.
    11. Dubl Duck Spec.#1 - celluloid, 11/16 SP, 1/2 hol. - good cond.
    12. Bowdins Wedge - bakelite, 4/8 wedge - good cond.
    13. Wester Bros. Germany De-Fi #34 - bakelite w/ wood grain?, 4/8 SP, 1/2 hol. - good cond.

    15. Genco Easy Aces - celluloid, 5/8 SP, 1/2 hol. - very good
    16. Bowdins Wedge - celluloid, 5/8 wedge - decent cond.

    Okay, any help with #'s 2,5,6,9,10,12,13 & 15?

    I am definitely keeping #'s 1,4,7,11 & 15
    Un-decided on #'s 9,10 & 12 until I can find out some info.
The rest will be made available shortly.

    Thanks for any help!!!!!

Wow, nice haul. Post as many pics as you can tolerate. I know I speak for everyone when I say, we love pictures of razors.

Looks like you already decided one the ones I would have chosen just by looking at your list (Geneva, Henckels, Griffon, DD, W&B, etc).

    Congrats, and enjoy.

Let me know what you want for number 14. That W&B is on my short list for RAD.

Sorry Joke I was pretty determined to have that lot. I had a good feeling about it even though the description wasn't very detailed. If there's anything on the not keepig list you need I will make you a good deal except for the W&B that Sean has shown interest.

I'm done for a while too many projects the next one is your......lol

I was going to ask you the same thing. Don't you want to keep the #14, a 7/8 W&B chopper?

That is quite a haul. I love genuine stag scales. Do the ones on the Geneva Cutlery look original to the blade ? One way or the other that is very cool. You have some great stuff there if they are in reasonably good shape. Congrats!
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
