Thanked: 16Most virus's exposed to well oxygen and what not will be destroyed rather quickly Hep C is one thats known to last about the longest and it is widely accepted to essentially be inactive after 7 days. Spore forming bacteria however can survive in that form for unknown lengths of time. However in the small amount any could possibly be on the razor (not to mention how they got there did someone dip the razor in highly contaminated milk full of Bacillus Cereus before putting it away? :-P) Unless your severely immunocompromised your immune system should take care of it. Honestly if a razor that hasn't been used in years I'd be more worried about the organisms on my SKIN but... doesn't hurt to be prudent do a search for barbicide/autoclaving etc. lots of existing threads on this...
