And putting clips on them is not that good an idea, because the scales would likely deform or crack under tension or pressure in your pocket.

Especially in situations where someone's life could depend on it, I'd want my knife to be dependable instead of fancy, and I'd carry a tactical folder like my spyderco. It's durable, has a non-slip handle, can be opened with 1 hand, and locks when open.

There are enough disadvantages to razros as knives that I really wouldn't carry one
1) it can open in your pocket... nuff said
2) it doesn't lock open
3) can't clip on. if you mount a clip, it is possible for the scales to breal or crack. See (1)
4) when closed, the tang could poke in uncomfortable places

I belive in using the right tool for the job. And straights are not it for cases like this.

They might be hopeless weapons but I would definatly have brown underpants if someone started waving one at me with a mad glint in their eye
They were commonly used in Glasgow as weapons in the 50's or so I've heard! Frightening!!
