Getting a Livi from Livi.
Last night my father called me and told me he had ordered a one week vacation in Italy for the whole family! The vacation wount be until sep. This will be a great family vacation nomatter what. But a selfish tought came to my mind: What if I could fit in a visit to the Maestro! Since its not until sep.and all expences are covered,I would be able to spend some good money on a custom Livi! Mabe even a set!
I know a couple of you guys have done this.I actually asked some of you awhile back around the subject. But then I didn't think that I would be able to pull it of in the near future.Making this happen would be a dream come true for me! So, if anyone could help out with some details as for the location of the Maestro.(We are going to Bologna, but will be renting a car.)
And also the process of ordering directly from him, I would be most greatful!
Thanks Kristoffer.

Thanked: 271Mastro Livi is in Perugia, about 3 hours from Bologna by car. Perugia is a cool university town with a medieval old town center and well worth a visit.
Bologna is also 30 minutes from Modena. Maybe we could hook-up while you're here.

That would be an experience you would remember for a lifetime and the razor a memento of it that would be handed down through generations. I enjoyed the videos and the DVD of the Mastro at work very much as well as the posts by those that have visited him. He welcomes his customers graciously and enthusiastically.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 271Well, then you'll have to take me with you to interpret. But seriously, I think one of his sons speaks a little English. Why don't you e-mail him with your questions:
[email protected]
and here's his website.

Thanked: 335How much Italian can one learn in 7 months? Maybe just enough to get by without a translator. Now wouldn't that be fun?
