The razors on the site look nice... but I tend to distrust the chinese level of quality. If they turn out to be nice, maybe I'll buy one or two. But I'll buy it from one of you guys... Good Luck!

Has it been confirmed whether or not the Gold Dollars are indeed Double Arrows? I thought it was stated in a different thread that the scales on the DA's are mady by GD, but there was some uncertainty as to who made the razors.

I would say the Gold Dollars are a different razor manufacturer. DAs come from Shanghai, I believe the GD's come from elsewhere.

Sent an e-mail to Golden Dollar, requesting a sample or two of their best versions. Will post any updates.

Let me know what happens. I'll start adding names once we have figured out the quality of these.

What ever happened to this thread, did it die?? or is this project still in the works??

I've been to B&B and have seen some Double Arrow mods that have me wanting to whip out my dremel!! To do those things to a vintage razor would just be unforgivable.....

what is the smallest lot they will let us buy? i'd be willing to contribute some money for a "test lot" and just write it off if they turn out to be crap.
