I have been looking at the site for a while now. It appears that stock changes.
I kind of like #10 6/8 in ebony. The translation says it is new forging.
The picture shows the reverse tang says "C. Friedr. Schmidt Solingen"

This Currency converter will give you an idea, but there are fees associated with changing currency that will raise the price some. It depends on what Paypal charges.

for those who bought the Revisors, did they apply the VAT? If not, that gives them an edge over Ebay purchases. Since Ebay sellers probably include the VAT in their costs. Their products are also purchased and sold within the EU.
I would enjoy other comments regarding quality.

I am sure the new ones are good quality razors as are any razors comming out of Solingen; however, the original C. Friedr. Schmidt Revisors were of the absolute finest quality and one of the most consistantly well ground razors. IMHO they are on the same level as any you could name as the best ever.

How about this.
I tell my wife that I need to buy this:
because it's important for me to help preserve and encourage this type of craftsmanship.
The fact that its shoulderless with a worked spine doesn't hurt either.

I got a nice Email from Thomas. He told me they were going to come out with a new 8/8 razor next month. I am a 5-6/8 guy so I thought I would share.
