OK a little voice of reason here, first off welcome to SRP.... Great to see somebody with such enthusiasm

Do you have a strop, shave soap, brush already???? otherwise this might very well be the shortest most uncomfortable thing you might ever experienced for $50...

LOL no but i wouldnt shave with it until i have aquired the neccesary accessories ofcourse. itll probably take me a week or 2 to scrape together appropriate strops lathers honing/slurry stones . i already have some but not intended for razors.
im one of those people who's money burns holes in there pockets, so if i dont get the razor while i have the money, i never will, and once i get the razor, ill get addicted and probably blow every spare dime on shaving accessories for a few months, until i have a whole shelf full of goodies

dang i found a couple i wanted to ask about but my post with them didnt go through for some reason

what do you guys think about that, ive heard/read several times bokers are nice, and im partial to the imprint on the blade.... its really the only intact boker ive seen for <60
ok say you had to choose between that boker, the fama solingen, or the blues seal spike point.( the ones that veedubb linked to above)
i think im down to those three choices

This is truly the most helpful and generous forum I have ever encountered. I had another member, who I'd only just started talking to, offer to send me a DMT hone for setting a bevel. Completely unasked for, and unlooked for, although very much appreciated.

Being generous and kind is just like being stingey and rude. Both are highly contagious.

Another example of fine SRP generocity!

I couldn't count the number of razors, brushes, free honing offers etc that have been offered here even in the short time I've been a member, and I have been lucky enough to recieve some of that generocity and hopefully will pass it on sooner or later.

    Congratulations 0ctopus!

    Greg
